The Semester has started! Here is what I am looking forward to, what I hope to learn and where I feel I will find challenges.

This semester contains two courses! I know that I am biting off a mouthful, however, I am very excited about what is in store for me. I am taking a sculpting class and a sketching class that is based around perspective and proportions.

I am very much looking forward to sculpting again! Our first project is a wax to bronze figure which I am so excited to share with you when she is complete! I will also be working with clay and soapstone again. I hope to make sculpting a more common form of art that occurs in my studio.

I have yet to take a more in depth course involving perspective and it something that I struggle with as an artist. I hope that throughout this course I can learn and grow so I feel more confident in this area. It's one of the main reasons why I avoid landscapes!

Throughout the semester, I will post updates and finished works!

Wish me luck!
